Welcome to my home on the web!

I'm originally from Vineland, NJ. I don't know how old I was when I started reading, but it was very early, probably because my mother and grandmother both had houses full of books. I was writing short stories by age six.

Although I've been writing my entire life, I had almost no publishing success until 2010. Failure was pretty useful. It made me ask myself the same thing that all artists must ask: why do I keep doing this? Because if it's for the sake of commercial success, I'm a failure. If I do it for the pure joy of doing it, though, that's a different story. Trevelyan's Wager is my first published novel.

I currently live in the cute bayside town of Keyport, and teach History at Brookdale Community College, the community college system of Mommouth County, NJ.
